The California Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters is, more or less, one tricky woman. Since Donald Trump was elected, Rep. Maxine Waters got herself booked on some cable show.
Waters also screeched loudly and incoherently about impeachment and permutation in the entire interview.
Rep. Maxine keeps on getting gigs, but even though shes’s a tricky woman, that’s certainly some kind of a trick. There isn’t any evidence that could remove Trump from his office, but there happen’s to be evidence enough to unseat one lawmaker on Capitol Hill: Rep. John Conyers.
On Monday night, according to Conservative Tribune it was revealed that Conyers, a Michigan Democrat, has settled a sexual harassment lawsuit that accused him of improperly fondling lots of women and using taxpayer money to fly in mistresses.
This is what Maxine Waters said about him:
“You know, there is a member of Congress who has been supportive of women for many, many, many years. He is quiet. He is confident. He is powerful. But he has impeccable integrity on all of our issues. Give John Conyers a big round of applause. We are reclaiming our time.”
“We’re speaking to women who are single mothers, women who work two and three jobs making minimum wage or less, women who have been exploited, harassed, or taken advantage of in their personal and professional lives.”
“I just want to take time to focus on something that I think we need to focus on right now. It is very fortuitous that we are gathered here this afternoon in Detroit as we continue to recognize a record number of women who are boldly coming forward to reveal disturbing and grotesque acts of sexual harassment, assault and rape, often times at the hands of men who believed they were too rich and too powerful to ever be confronted or held accountable.”
According to biz pac review, sadly, John Conyers isn’t the only politician who’s using taxpayer funds to settle sex abuse claims. Congress has spent $17 million of taxpayer money since 1997 to settle 264 harassment claims filed against lawmakers.
Democrat John Conyers, the longest-serving current member of the House of Representatives, used taxpayer money to settle a 2015 wrongful termination lawsuit filed by a former employee who says she was fired because she wouldn’t have sex with him.
Congress protects the identity of the abusers, even though they’re public servants whose salaries are paid by taxpayers.
Congresswoman Maxine Waters and Conyers, have repeatedly called for President Trump to be impeached. They and a group of Democrats recently filed a lawsuit to remove Trump from office, claiming abuse of power.
