Maryland Governor Larry Hogan, also launched January 9, as law enforcement Thanksgiving day in Maryland.
According to CBS Baltimore:
“This is a declaration of the state of Maryland. Law Enforcement Appreciation Day.”
“I just want to know how much you mean to me, and the rest of the people. I will always have your back. I will always have the utmost respect for what you do, and will continue to provide support as we can for you because we know what will provide for us. “
Gov. Hogan said:
“What you do every day, putting your lives on the line. We are so proud of everyone of you,”
Governor Hogan met with officers from the state police of Maryland, Maryland Transportation Authority Police, Natural Resources Police, Maryland Capitol Police, and Baltimore City School Police.
